As they don't map cleanly to PSP's own layer effects. But I most often see that error you mention when layer effects are involved. It has a similar but separate error if you open a PSD file with an unsupported Adjustment Layer. If the image has a smart object, PSP keeps the flattened layer. But it will convert them to raster layers without batting an eye. PSP doesn't support Text or vector paths/shapes from PSD files. For example PSP doesn't have Linear Dodge (Add) blend mode, or the Subtract Blend mode, and it won't warn you about this, it'll just keep a blend mode of Normal. Usually PSP will fail silently on features it doesn't support. ![]() It's a warning that the end result might not match what you expect. My biggest issue is they convert the SVG to a raster and don't even give you the option to keep the paths.Īs for PSD, that error usually shows up when they have layer effects on one of the layers. Will say this though, since they now include chromium for the new Photography workspace they have a great SVG renderer they could be making use of. Even if they fixed that I'm honestly not convinced it would be worth while. Sometimes I cant open them at all and other times the images are distorted. PSP's SVG import isn't great though, and not just because it seems to randomly reject files for seemingly no reason. at 10:29 I have also tried to install inkscape based on your suggestion, still when launching it, the same problem arises. Usually you need to push and hope they'll bump up the topic to the engineering team. ![]() That is main support, they don't have a lot of technical information. Method 1: Using Keyboard Shortcuts Press Win + R to open the Windows Run dialog. If this file is not opening in your software still then you can move the bin and lib path up in this list of System variable section of the Environment dialog.
